Tense (काल) - Tense Part - 7 - Past Perfect Tense

 आज के इस पोस्ट में हम Past Perfect Tense को सीखेंगे।

Past Perfect Tense -

 

इस Tense के वाक्यों की पहचान है - क्रिया के साथ चुका था, चुकी थी, चुके थे, लिया था, दिया था, गया था, ली थी, दी थी, की थी लगा रहता है।

 

Note -

सभी subjects के साथ HAD का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

 

Rules -

 

Affirmative Sentences 

Subject + had + V3 + object

 

Negative sentences 

Subject + had + not + V3 + object

 

Interrogative Sentencs 

Wh + had + subject + V3 + object ?

 

Negative Interrogative Sentences

Wh + had + subject + not + V3 + object ?

 

Example of Affirmative Sentences

 

सीता बचपन में कई सर्जरी करवाई थी।

Sita has undergone numerous surgeries during her childhood.

 

उन्होंने बहुत अधिक खाना खा लिया था।

They had consumed too much food.

 

Example of Negative Sentences

 

वे कोचिंग नही गए थे।

They had not gone to coaching.

 

उन्होंने बहुत अधिक खाना नही खाया था।

They had not consumed too much food.

 

Example of Interrogative Sentences

 

क्या आपने इससे पहले ताजमहल नहीं देखा था?

Had you not seen the Tajmahal before?

 

क्या आप विराट कोहली से कई बार मिल चुके थें?

Had you meet Virat Kohli Several times?

 

Example of Negative Interrogative Sentences

 

क्या मैं ऑफिस नही गया था?

Had I not gone to office?

 

क्या वह तुम्हारे ऑफिस नही आई थी?

Had she not come to your office?
